Future Leaders
Hills business professionals are taking time out of their hectic schedules to mentor Year 11 and Year 12 students as part of a youth leadership and community coach development program.
The 22 week Max Potential program started on May 20 at Castle Hill RSL, where each business mentor and student signed a contract to demonstrate their commitment to the program.
Some of the activities the students and mentors were involved in included team building exercises and group coaching exercises. There was even a dancing activity, where each group had to choreograph a victory dance.
All these activities were designed for the students to realise their potential and for the mentors to develop their coaching skills.
Some of the leaders from the Hills community taking part include Crowne Plaza Norwest general manager Brian McHenry, IIBE managing director Scott Tyler, Cameron Recruitment director Diane Humphries and Castle Hill RSL group general manager David O’Neill
Cameron Recruitment is a specialist agency providing clients and candidates alike with expert recruitment advice and service. The Sydney based team is made up of seasoned professionals that have extensive working backgrounds in Accounting, General Management and Human Resources.
